Do the speakers on your computer have you leaning in and straining to hear? Got a great pair of speakers for your home entertainment system? The newest version of VLC Player lets you combine the two with AirTunes.

Once only available on Apple’s iTunes, VLC has added AirTunes’ functionality into its latest release. To utilize this feature, you’ll need to already have Apple’s Airport Express installed on your computer. When you want to stream to your home speakers, you load your media onto VLC, go to “playlist”, right click on “media file” and select stream.

If you’re having difficulty, you may need to adjust some of your basic settings, but once your systems are synchronized, you should be able to enjoy your media files through your home stereo equipment – wirelessly!
